The BlueJeans video-conferencing platform has officially been discontinued by its vendor. As a result, access to your BlueJeans account and any saved recordings will no longer be available as of the end of December 2023.
We understand the importance of preserving your valuable content. Please follow these instructions before Dec. 31, 2023 to download your recordings. After this date, your recordings will be lost.
To download your BlueJeans recordings:
- Visit https://bcnet.bluejeans.com/archive/meetings
- Log in with your credentials if prompted
- On the Profile page, click the Recordings tab
- Select the recordings you wish to download
- Follow the on-screen instructions to download them to your device
Faculty: if you wish to continue sharing videos with your students via Moodle, you can use the Kaltura integration. Please visit the Teaching Unbound site for support using Kaltura.
Both BigBlueButton and Zoom are available for video conferencing for teaching and learning. For support with video integration in Moodle using BigBlueButton or Kaltura, please contact the Learning Technology Team at learningtech@tru.ca. For assistance with Zoom, please contact IT Services.
Staff: we recommend using either MS Teams or Zoom for video conferencing. Read the Getting Started with Zoom article on the ITS Portal to set up your TRU licensed account.
