IT Services is introducing three new initiatives to improve TRU’s information security this summer!
The “TRU” WiFi Network will be deactivated Tuesday August 15, 2023.
New password strength requirements for all TRU and myTRU accounts Tuesday August 15, 2023.
Anyone using an @mytru.ca email must enable Multi-Factor Authentication Monday September 25, 2023.

On Sunday, August 13, all buildings on the Kamloops campus will be inaccessible from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for a scheduled power outage. Campus phone lines will not work during the outage. Banner and related systems will be offline from 12 a.m. to 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 5 for upgrades, and 10 p.m. Saturday to 3 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 6 while Ellucian performs necessary maintenance.
The main TRU website and Moodle will not be impacted by this outage.
