This is a reminder that August 8-9th is the weekend when everyone will have a TRU-ID that starts with a “T”. Work for this change will start Friday evening and continue all day Saturday. This is also the weekend that we will introduce a new email system (Outlook) for students. Information about the email change will be sent to student email accounts.
There will be updated information posted later this weekend in the “Everyone now has a T-ID” section of myTRU.
After this weekend students will use their “T” student number to log into all of their computer accounts. Faculty will notice that all of their class lists will only have student ID’s that start with “T”.
We encourage campus students to get their new Campus ID card (www.tru.ca/campuscard) with their “T” student number as this will make it easier to remember their student number, as well as make it faster when requesting support or services. Open Learning students will also use the “T” student number when they are requesting services.
