IT Services has recently implemented a new, web-based telephone directory application.
Users can now go to https://webapps.tru.ca/telbook/ or through the “Find a Person” link on the TRU website.
If you are a Windows user there will now be a shortcut icon on your desktop labeled “Telbook-Web”.
The new web application allows you to search for telephone information in the same manner as the old Telbook desktop application. For more advanced or large searches you may be prompted to log in with your network credentials.
The legacy Telbook desktop application is not designed to access the new Telbook database and therefore will no longer be receiving updates.
IT Services will disable the shortcut to the legacy desktop application on Monday, March 27th, 2017 to prevent confusion with inaccurate information.
