Scheduled power outages will take place on Sunday, Mar. 23, affecting the Campus Activity Centre (CAC), Arts and Education (AE) and Industrial Training and Technology Centre (ITTC). Outages will occur sequentially, beginning at 6 a.m. with CAC, followed by AE and ITTC. Each building is expected to be without power for approximately two hours.
- CAC: 6 – 8 a.m.
- AE: 8 – 10 a.m.
- ITTC: 10 a.m. – noon
Building closures: All three buildings will be closed to the public from 6 a.m. to noon for safety.
IT and operations impact: TRU networks and wi-fi within these buildings will be temporarily offline, requiring up to 20 minutes to reboot once power is restored.
Employees in affected buildings are advised to power down computers and sensitive equipment beforehand as a precaution.
