On Saturday, Jan. 13, IT Services will be performing critical network upgrades as well as upgrading network equipment in Old Main.
IT Services will perform critical emergency network updates from 6 – 8 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 13. All network access will be impacted. However, Moodle will continue to function for those accessing it off-campus or using cellular data service on-campus.
During the outage, there will be no access to the following:
- Banner Admin pages
- Self-service functions in myTRU and TRUemployee, including online registration, payments, timesheets, transcripts and other academic record details, tax forms and faculty grade entry
- Any TRU online forms requiring payment
- DegreeWorks
- Argos reports
- FWPT
- FAST
- Infosilem
- Other core applications related to Banner
In addition, IT Services will be upgrading network equipment in Old Main from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 13. During this work, wired and wireless network services in all offices and classrooms in Old Main, except first-floor computer labs, will be unavailable. During the outage, please encourage students to take advantage of the other study spaces on campus, including the House of Learning, Independent Centre and Campus Activity Centre.
