On Sunday, Aug. 7, all buildings on the Kamloops campus will be inaccessible from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for a scheduled power outage. If you need access to a building during this time, please call campus security.
Since phone lines will not work during the outage, you can use the TRU Safe app to reach security. Or, you can use this temporary mobile number while landlines are down: 250-320-7633.
In preparation for the outage, it is important to have fridges cleaned out and computers turned off by end of day Friday, Aug. 5.
This outage does not affect West Gate Dormitories, McGill Residence, East Village or any of the Reach neighbourhood developments. North Tower will be provided with a generator for expected intermittent outages.
